The films and tv shows that I have worked on (as editor, assistant, or co-writer) have been distributed by PBS, Warner Bros., HBO, and Netflix and screened at dozens of festivals including Cannes, Sundance, SXSW, Full Frame, and Rooftop. They have won multiple awards including the 2005 Edward R. Murrow Award for best TV Network Documentary for the first long-form TV documentary on the Iraq War.

Daneeta Loretta Jackson has written and directed over 40 short-form narrative, documentary and experimental films, three long-form films, and a variety of commercials, industrials, PSA, branded videos, web series, social media spots and web videos for clients large and small. Katherine Brooks has worked in film and television in both New Orleans and Los Angeles for 20+ years. She most recently produced and directed the feature film “Lost In Time” starring Jill Hennessy. The feature was filmed in New Orleans. She was the Director on “Waking Madison” which also filmed in New Orleans and starred Elisabeth Shue, Frances Conroy, Taryn Manning and Will Patton. In Los Angeles, Katherine produced and directed shows for Bravo, MTV, E! Entertainment, NBC, TLC and other networks in which she has won an Emmy Award. In 2011, she launched her New Orleans based production company Big Easy Pictures where she currently lives. In 2012, she released the critically acclaimed documentary Face 2 Face. Katherine was one of the youngest members to be inducted into the Directors Guild of America. Katherine Brooks grew up in Covington, Louisiana and enjoys working with passionate filmmakers who are driven by strong stories.
