Second Line Stages is a new, 90,000 square foot state-of-the-art soundstage facility for film and television production. We are located in the heart of New Orleans and are set to open in January 2010. Second Line Stages is also is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program and is on track to earn a Silver designation.

We are currently developing our “Green” Vendor List for incoming clients. If your company offers environmentally sustainable, ‘green’ goods and/or services, including practicing environmentally sustainable operations initiatives, we’d like to know about you.

About Second Line Stages
The 90,000 sf campus encompasses three sound stages measuring 18,000, 12,300 and 7,400 sf, each with a sound rating of NC-25, 20 lbs psf lighting grid, 3 phase show power, and silent air-conditioning; 18,000 sf of production support space; 30,000 sf of production office, dressing room, casting, wardrobe and conference space, a 49-seat digital screening theatre, ample parking and 50,000 sf of additional warehouse space

The operations of the studio are being designed to support smarter, cleaner, more sustainable physical film production methods and practices in keeping with the direction of the industry. We encourage all direct, support and ancillary businesses in our area to join us in this effort.
