Cage's Hungry Rabbit filming in New Orleans
The Hungry Rabbit Jumps, starring Nicolas Cage and directed by Roger Donaldson, has been shooting in New Orleans since December, and will continue through mid-February. The film tells the story of a man trying to enlist the aid of a vigilante group so he can avenge his wife's brutal assault.

Pirates set sail in different direction
Rumors surfaced last week that Baton Rouge was being considered for the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie, set for release in May, 2011. But according to Chris Stelly, director of the state's Film & Television Office, that's not the case.
Stelly said last week that the film has decided to film in London instead. Even so, 2010 will be a good year for movies filmed in Louisiana.
Shotgun Wedding
According to Louisiana Entertainment, American United Entertainment's feature film Shotgun Wedding, is scheduled to start shooting this month in New Orleans.
