Application Deadline: March 5

 Call To Middle & High School Students Interested In Auditioning

 

New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA, 2800 Chartres Street, New Orleans-70117) reminds interested middle and high school students its official application deadline is fast approaching. All students who would like to audition for the 2010 Summer Conservatory (open to current 7-11th graders), 2010-11 regular Fall/Spring Session (open to current 8-11th graders) and the 2010-11 Fall Dance and Vocal Preparatory Programs (open to current 5-7th graders) must forward a completed application to NOCCA by Friday, March 5, 2010.

NOCCA offers intensive arts training in Creative Writing, Dance, Media Arts: Filmmaking & Audio Production, Classical Instrumental Music, Jazz, Vocal, Drama, Musical Theatre, Theatre Design and Visual Arts to high school students during ½ day, afterschool, and Summer Conservatory attendance options. A special summer Culinary Arts program is also offered. Middle school students are encouraged to apply for NOCCA’s prep programs and the Summer Conservatory. NOCCA is tuition free.
